Claret Institute of Employment Training (CIET) is born with the idea of linking the job seekers with the available jobs thereby taking employment as the prime tool of development of Jharkhand. It aims to build up a new society with responsible and committed labour force.

CIET functions with the motto of “Connecting the job aspirants among the marginalized namely the tribals and poor in Jharkhand with deserving job opportunities.”

Education serves, as the foundation for development. Any society, which is on the path towards development, should have access to right education. Knowledge management in the past has been a privilege of few while vast majorities of people were at dark without knowing the various educational possibilities available with in the state. Therefore an attempt has been made by Claret Institute of Education Training to enlist all the educational institutions so that it can remain a guidebook for student as well as parents to choose the right institution for Education. As many students move towards Bangalore and chennai every year for their studies, professional institutions from those cities are also added in the directory for ready reference.

The main building of CIET was inaugurated on 15th of August 2007 by His Eminence Telesphore P.Cardinal Toppo. The guests of honour on this occasion were Mr.Arun Kumar Budhia, President of Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Fr.Dr.Alex Ekka, Assistant Director of Xavier Institute of Social Service, Rev.Fr.Raphael Raj CMF, Provincial Superior of the Claretian Province of Chennai. The idea of CIET was conceived by Fr.K.Joseph David CMF and presently executed by the Director Fr.Lord.M.Winner CMF. Many dignitaries from the field of Industries, Education and Religion were present for the function which took place at 7 pm at the New Building adjacent to St.James Church, Lalpur, Ranchi.
